Good going Faraz, maybe your letter helped others who wanted the exterior CF packge. I can't imagine Mercedes will create only one additional package for your car.

BTW, does anyone have a confirmed (i.e., in writing from Mercedes) build date for their Black Series?

Don't have a letter, but my build date is May, delivery in August. I think they stop production in May.

Thanks, my sheet specifies a build date of March 12th. So I expect delivery the last week of April or the first week of May. I wonder when the first BS's will get to the US.

I'm sure ti will be a beautiful car, I am disappointed in the mandatory panoramic sunroof option, if only the made more cars available and if you could get them w/o the weight increase, and decrease in structural stiffness problems with a sunroof, I think this is even worse than the first gen 911 GT3 having mandatory sunroof,

I concur. I think all of the BS's made available to the automotive press (including the version driven around the Ring) had steel roofs, lacked rear seats and had the track and aero packages.

I reckon the Black will run close to $280k on the road with a couple of options. I thought about one but the ride on Sydney roads would be too hard as a daily driver.
