OK...so I got mine working but there are no apps that I can see....
So when you are in the engineer, go to internet, then browser and say yes and that is it. Exit or turn the car off. Then it come up, you will need to make sure your car and phone is pair or it will mess up and not work. So make sure it is pair first before you start.
Next it will ask you to set it up...just tell it what country you are in and who is the service for your phone.
It will set it up and done...you have internet in your car.
I just wish I could get my hands on some apps which I know you put on the SD and upload.

The internet system seems to be working pretty much only with older symbian-based Nokia phones. Android does not work and neither does the iphone. As for the input of the streets, i suppose in the states you can just say the whole streetname, here we have to spell it out letter by letter, which is quite annoying....

Well...I have a last generation 2012 and when I authorized the browser, the first time I tried to connect to the internet it ask my what phone I had. No Nokia, but iPhone, BT Blackberry and Android so this leaves me to believe that if you have a late 2012 then those phones will work. Though on the MB website it states that iPhone and Android may have to download an app that gives them access to BT or DUN.

I bought a A Class in 2013, and still no support for iPhone!
Hi guys,
Any one knows if the comand online software update is available?
For the time being, I was thinking about 2 options:
1) Get an old Nokia E71 to permanety connect the phone to command online with a sim that I have in my tablet, but I still want to connect my iPhone to receive and make calls. Any one knows if it is possible to connect 2 phones? 1 for data the other for voice???
2) I have 2 old 3G dongles that I could connect to the usb port of comand online... Any ones knows if it work? Or I could make it work?
Thanks

I'm not 100% sure on what I'm about to say, but here goes...
NTG4.5 COMAND has the capability to do some limited internet and apps. These were included in the facelift models.
Pre-facelift models have the NTG4 COMAND and does not have internet/apps capability.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong plz.
ALSO, there's an app created by a user called BLUEDUN (I think that's what it's called). This allows iPhones and Android phones to be able to connect to the COMAND via Bluetooth using DUN with phones that do not have DUN. There's a thread somewhere here. Search BLUEDUN.
Hope this helps.

Hello Filipe Silva,
The face lift model came with another part that was added to the Command however this part (which I can not place a name on) is only available to US and Europene models.
As 2014 models iPhone will not have a problem as the unit will accept it right away but this looks like it's only the Europene models that will not have any problems. Kind of like what they are like today.
Sad thing it's because of regulations that are set out with regards to driving and frontal screens in cars. Also cross boarder signals cause another issue all together.
Everyone that tells you are Bluedun is correct if you want to connect to Command for internet. I have internet in my car but that is it. NO Apps, No Weather, No extras, just internet. So is it worth it??? Really up to you if you can get the apps but so you know that apps come from the cloud as they are not built into the car software.
