Thanks for the comments guys, I'm still grinning from ear to ear whenever anyone asks me about the car. It's an amazing machine. I originally didn't want the optional 19" rims but to get the free AMG winter wheel and tire package, I had to take delivery in January so they only had this and an Obsidian Black with the packages I wanted. With the free winter wheels and tires, I didn't mind paying a little extra for the 19" rims. Super happy with my choice, I love the look of the multi-spoke wheels on the car.

Merc63: Nope, roads are dry down here, that snow you see is from the side of the road just outside my driveway when I pulled in. I heard the guys in Vancouver get Yokohama tires, the stock tires on my 19" rims are Continentals. Didn't get the exact model, I'll check that out later.

I took delivery to get thsoe winter tires and rims, but they still haven't come in yet. Mercedes Canada says they are backordered and no ETA which is disappointing. Waiting to get the full front end covered in XPEL to protect against rocks. Did this with my C350 and it still looks like new with no chips. It definitely mitigates any corrosion that could be accelerated by the salt on the roads. I always keep my cars in tip top shape, so I'm not worried. It's going to be a blast in the snow when the winters come in!

Mercedes paint is a lot better than the usual but don't get to close to trucks. Wish I got those 19's very nice.

Yeah it's definitely a more resilient paint. I didn't use XPEL on my front bumper on the C350 and it still looked like new after 2.5 winters in Calgary. I'm definitely staying away from trucks until I get XPEL on the front end, the power definitely helps when I decide to pass and get around them ASAP. Was an interesting drive home today!

The optional 19" wheels are $1,200 from factory here in Canada.
