Exhaust Setup Opinions

I am taking the car over to my local shop tomorrow before I throw on my Agency Power Cat back, should I delete my primary or secondary cats, to accompany Agency's catback, which has an x-pipe of it's own to delete the resonator in it's place, and modified mufflers, with the valvetronic flaps inside, will primary be too loud? as always thanks guys

primary cats are the most restrictive and the hardest to go around for the ECU and emissions, secondary's produce a pretty decent HP gains (5-10), if you take them both off and headers/moddified mufflers, it will be way too loud as a DD IMHO, so if I were you I'd go with just the secondaries off bc as far as I know the O2 sensors are after the primaries and not the secondaries in the w204's, so thus its simpler and your keeping some drone down, along with still gaining a small HP gain!

Hope that helps,

Adam

I have a tun that bypasses the O2 issues, and I would rather get the Primaries out since I'll get most of the power there as you states, decisions, decisions lol, thanks!

They're installing your Agency Power?

I bought the same exhaust and was going to install it myself but decided against it because the wiring and routing of the vacuum lines look like a pain to do without a lift.

Thanks,
Mike

yes, i got a custom made ash tray switch plate with various other items in it, including a switch to turn on the valves on the agency, it will be in next week, they will be putting it in, all the wiring is fully run ready for when they come, all they have to do is lift my car when i get there and throw it in and connect the cables, i wanted a hardwired setup, i don't think i would be a fan of the valves with a remote, it's something you will use in the driver seat, why must i go wireless lol

Sounds like a slick setup.

I completely agree regarding the hardwired set-up. I may do something similar
with mine. Maybe in the glove box or in the armrest compartment.

Thanks for the info.

i will show you guys the ash tray when it is completed, also of course videos of it! but if you would like the shop contacted agency power and asked how to make the controller box into a hard wired route, i can take pics when he does it and show you guys, you must open the controller box, and disconnect everything from the box, and connected the wires only, not let them go to the circuit board and then your switch wherever you run the wires from there will do the magic, but don't take my word until i speak with them and see it done, and you are welcome, anytime
