Mercedes-Benz Turbo vs The Competition.
I know MB has experience with turbo's and superchargers. What I would like to know is how they compare to the competition, such as Audi, BMW, Jag etc etc. How's the turbo lag compared to the competition? How about how well the engine pulls in the mid to high RPM's? Is there excessive carbon build-up?(Audi's have/had this problem) Would love some insight!

Too new to tell how reliable they are. I drove the new E63 and CLS63, and there was zero lag, even at 3400ft elevation where turbo lag is always an issue with turbo cars.

I think MB's experience with turbos has paid off. There's very little lag on my CLS, and the mid-to-high RPM pulls are amazing. If you haven't been in an AMG with the new 5.5 BiTurbo, then go find someone / some dealer that has one and give it a shot.
