Petro, great choice on the orange. The calipers came out sick!
How long did the whole painting process take?

sorry not to hijack your thread...
regardless after you do the drop it will look crazy.
I was afraid the orange and the blacked out look wasn't going to work but I really like the way it came out. When the shop owner drove the car out, I had the same feeling when I picked the car up from the dealer for the first time.

Thank You.

The calipers took 2 to 3 days but he had the car the whole week because I had my chrome trim and badges painted too. He also installed my Agency Power exhaust. The whole tone of the car changed with the catback, much much deeper than before.

Here is mine..
In the bright light they appear a bit lighter as they have a tad of shimmer in them.

Mine is close in color to Pedro's but i decided to leave some of the chrome bits in. I have two sets of wheel caps, one silver and other black.

I left the silver ones on as it ties in better overall with the caliper that the all black look.

Sighting,

Looks good.

The orange really pops behind the black wheels. I'm glad I went with orange.

I've gotten so many thumbs up from people since painting the calipers.

Whoa. Someone thinks they have the final word on matters of style.
I think its a personal preference thing.

I like the bright calipers. And I'm not actually that keen on M5's.

Looks great, Mike! Looks like your car is undergoing quite a transformation and I look forward to seeing it at the track this Spring/Summer.

I've got a few cosmetic changes of my own in the works so it will be nice to see two different takes on black C63s.

How do you paint your caliper and it looks like OEM even with the
AMG logo on it?

I have the silver AMG stock color and I'm afraid if I change the color
it will chip and look crappy...

any help on this...thanks

When I spoke to the shop owner I explained to him that I wanted a certain color but it had to look like it came from the factory. He absolutely nailed the look 100%. I've gotten so many compliments since painting the calipers.

Bergen Imports in NJ did the work.

My car was there for an Agency Power exhaust install too. I also had my chrome trim painted gloss black, the front grille and trunk Mercedes star painted flat black and the the side 6.3 badges flat black too. And finally I had my wheels powder coated flat black to finish off the look.

Originally, I thought I was charged $800 for the caliper work but after a closer look at the receipt it appears I was discounted $120 from the original charge for a total of $680.

what colors should I paint mine. I have a red car but I think red calipers might be too much. Would yellow fit?
