OK, got another one...lol

Has anyone had any success using the PCMCIA slot to play music off an SD card? How's the navigation via COMAND?

Yes, it works, but again you have to be careful with the type of PC cards, because not all PC cards work. I provided a link to the one I know works in my previous post in this thread. The navigation is passable but not great or even good; the only way of organizing the music is by folder. I prefer bluetooth streaming (iheartradio, pandora, spotify etc).

I have an '09 as well. I use Anystream, which connects to the ipod connection and gives you streaming audio through bluetooth capability. It even allow you basic controls (like skipping) via steering wheel (not COMAND unfortunately).

Awesome! I think I'll give that a try. How's the audio quality?

It's good enough; stereo only. You're more limited by the audio quality through cellular signals than bluetooth.

But I can play the music right off my iPhone which should work great.

As a backup plan, I just ordered a Sandisk PCMCIA card adaptor and 32gb SDHC card from Newegg...

I really CAN'T use the factory iPod integration...it gives me road rage...lol

#3, I don't believe the US models have it. I remember other benzs having it back in the day and was very sad when the c63 didn't have it (clearly not a deal breaker!)
