Brake replacement cost
@racingbrake: are the ET 500 pads at least the same as oem as far as kindness to the rotors, or are they super hard and abrasive? Thx.

It is not recommended (or feasible) to have your stock rotors turned/resurfaced.
OE rotors are ~150 a piece. Which is in line with what you'll pay for any sports car.
Pads are 120-200 F/R.
Is it more expensive to do the brakes on this car than a Camry? Yes. Is it compatible price wise to a 370z, Mustang, M3? Yes.

The brakes really are not expensive. They are really nice and easy to work on Brembo calipers. Now the part that is pricy is those stock 2 piece rotors.
If your worried about cost buy MB 1 piece rotors. Discount I see them $125-140 all the time. They are drilled and high quality. Second you can buy powerstop z71 pads for $50. Granted this is not the high end setup but still will stop the car with no issues and high quality parts.
If you want the performance advantage of 2 piece rotors then by all means RB is your best choice at the moment. If you want pure MB parts thise stock 2 piece rotors are spendy.
Also doing a break job on the C63 is super easy. Swapping pads is a 20 min job. Bleaching the brakes with a power bleeder is also a simple 1 person job. Everything is easy to get too and very easy to work on in the brake department.
