Mine is in production right now, should have VIN in the next day or so - looking like end of March delivery.

Called my dealer, said it's in production but no word on ETA or even VIN. This is So Cal Dealer.

Sounds about right. I had my order confirmed in June 2011.

You are really lucky... when I tried to put down a deposit during may/june the allocations were already gone.... and they were asking for 30k deposit

I have to now source one from the states used after a few years.

 

Speak for yourself, I put my deposit down in 2010 when the spy shots came out!

Go with white! black is to hard to keep clean and it hides the all the aggressive vents and carbon fibre. Silver is dime a dozen so that leaves white!

 

I would also select white. It will contrast well with the black trim (and pano roof) on the Black.

 

Are you sure about yours being built right now? Mine is a March build and I already have recieved my VIN a couple days ago. Canada cars will be coming before US cars by about 3 weeks. If you ordered the Aero package you will not be seeing your car in the states until late April at the absolute earliest, I fall under that group becuase I ordered the CF pkg and Aero Pkg. you should be able to call your dealership and have him look up your order and VIN and he should be able to tell you if your car is B1, B2, B3 etc.

This statement is not entirely true. Orders could not officially be placed on these cars until Jan. when the order data was officially up on the MB Star Net, the BS went up on Canadas system a couple weeks before the US system but both were in Jan. of this year. Hell the official C63BSDOG with options and order codes was not even released until 12/01/2011. You saw the debacle I went through and I put a deposit down mid last year myself, a deposit does not equate to an order.

 

LOL. MB Canada had my card # on file for the deposit since.....well maybe not 2010 but since last years Toronto Auto show. They just didn't actually finalize the charge till May

I would go white or red for sure!!!! The white looks awesome with the CF bits ^^^^ and the red just looks MEAN.

Just my 2 cents, black doesnt do this car justice, silver is bleh, and I am not a fan of the matte fad at all.

 

Hey jrcart, what was your build date. I am trying to determine when I will be given a VIN number. My build date is 3/12.
