Dyno surprise??
Hey guys well im kind of surprised in a good way i guess lol. I dynoed the car last week and on a dynojet the car made 407 whp and 370 torque only mods done to the car are removal of charcoal filters and k&n replacements. I did purchase the car from a dealer in dallas with 5000 miles so im wondering if its been previously chipped?? We did a top speed run since and it reached 200+ MPH on the dynojet. Anybody have any idea if the c63 comes limited from the factory if yes what is the speed it is limited to?

The invoice should have it on it. VIN also. Did you run a VIN check before buying for accidents? How much did you pay? I did notice the silver calipers. When you say "dealer" do you mean a MB dealer?

P31 has red brakes...
And no they wouldn't just flash the ECU for no reason... Why would they waste shop time for no reason?? Car gets looked over on a check list and is certified.

There is no question the ECU was modified in some way, if you are going above 174mph on the dyno. P31 would limit at 174 if I recall, only way to DE-limit is aftermarket. You likely have a tune.

Looks like the dealer just washed it and put it on the lot and didnt bother to inspect it due to low miles.

Those cars are in and out of the dealer in a flash, they don't waste time messing with too much on it, especially at a busy dealer..
Plus the techs get paid an hourly rate per job, if they do it quicker, they make more money... so they are always looking to cut a few corners and get **** moving.

Part of the CPO inspection however is (I looked it up) :
Flash-up the newest software if available for all telematics components , if applicable
Perform short test. Diagnose any stored DTCs and repair as necessary

now you need to find out who tuned it...
eurocharged is in houston, it could have been tuned by jerry on his occasional trips to dallas... might contact him and shoot him your vin#

holy s|-|it.....i think thats my old car. my old car went to a dallas dealership. it had a eurocharged v3 tune and some kleemann manifolds. though they may have put the stock manifolds back on?
any more info on the car?
mine did have 5000 or so miles on it.

also, i did service it at autoscope and it did have an lsd. man that is weird. i actually never wondered what ever happened to that car. i think i had the only pallidium silver 2011 c63 amg in dallas. i could be very wrong about that but i never knew of another one.
lol. it was a great car and ran like a top. glad someone else is enjoying it....if it turns out to be my old ride
and we have the same taste in cars.....i used to have an s14 silvia as well. had a sr20det red head engine dropped in it as well. one of my favorite cars i ever had. what a trip.

It all makes perfect sense now lol, i noticed the exhaust to be a little bit louder than a 2012 model i test drove at the dealer but said hum it might just be that they made the exhaust quieter for 2012, plus i also noticed a strong exhaust odor like when you run sport or no cats so that explains the manifold unless i have a leak in some place where they took the kleeman mani out. My other surprise was seeing the car top out at over 200+ MPH and putting down over 400whp. I also had a run with a 2012 c63 in town and beat him i was actually quite surprised lol. I wonder if there is an easy way of verifying if i do have the kleeman manifolds installed?
Ill send you a pm with the vin just to make sure it is your ex car. I find this to be great news since i was about to purchase the kleeman mani and was thinking about doing a tune and pulley lol. Guess i will save my money for some Vorsteiner goodies lol.
