I'm also considering keeping my TL, not sure yet what to do. If i sell it, i lose almost 20k in 3 years. If i keep it, it'll be a good first date car, also great in winter and I can save mileage on the C63.

The TL is payed off by next June 2013. I have like 5 k left on it, my payments are less than 300$ a month. What do you guys think? Pay it off now and just have 1 payment on the C and drive that in the winter also? Or just keep this TL?

Its nice having a second vehicle to drive -- especially in the winter

can someone tell me how long the car takes to build and get a vin? And what about tracking the shipment? If I stare at the screen long enough will I see the ship move?

home the point
I'd get a 2 door just so I can correct people in their pronunciation of the word "coupe".

I don't understand the logic behind this. Every coupe I've ever owned has a longer door than any 4-door I've ever owned and it has always been easier ingress & egress in the 4-door cars because of the shorter door. Especially so in tight parking spots.

Either way, congrats on the pickup, it will be a long, long wait I'm sure. Nice colour choice too!

defiantly the sedan!!!

i originally planed for the coupe too, as it looks so sexy in person. but in pics and on the road i think the sedan looks way better.

and the lines flow better on the sedan. maybe cheaper on insurance too. (for me it would have been.)

ironicly, i did end up going with a coupe, the cls63 (not really a coupe), as the c63 was too cramped inside for me

the opening of the door is noticeably bigger on the coupe compared to the 4 door. The B pillar is further back on the coupe thereby giving me (6'3) a lot more room to get out.

True but in a tight space where you can't swing that big door out wide, it may be more difficult to get in and out of. One thing for certain that makes ingress & egress harder in the sedan are the more pronounced seat bolsters.

I brought a car to my condo and I got in and out comfortably with the 2 door.

Here it is!

The coupe won by the way, but personally, I LOVE THE SEDAN! Diamond White (Matte White) with Black 19" multi-spoke AMG wheels... That's to die for.

Except on the 2008 model, my USA 2008 C63 mirrors fold automatically.
