Sounds good. Did you ever do a baseline dyno anywhere? If so, please go back to the same one for the delta pre- and post-Weistec tune.

That's exactly my point! He didn't do a pre and post dyno run. That's why I wanted to know where he got the 35 rwhp gain. Everywhere else have shown zero to negligible gains for tuning a P31 car.

You do realize it's not the same engine right? The P31 has different internals and a different tune. Have you noticed the HP rating for every M156 motor is rated differently throughout the lineup? Similiar, but not the same.

That particular Weistec graph has some strange information:

394 whp is really low for a stock E63

The torque curve before and after bears little resemblance to typical M156 results. The plateau is too high up in the RPM range.

I will get tune removed then dyno, after tune will be put on again and dynoed at same place.. I'm looking forward to seeing this as much as all of you, so we'll see. But just from driving it I think the difference is way too much to only be a 5whp gain as a few have said on here.

And everyone who keeps asking me where I got the 30whp from?
- This is what I was told from weistec, I did not just make a random guess.

Could this extra power "FEEL" be attributed to your secondary cat delete, K&Ns and charcoal filter removal and the 5hp from the tune?

Maybe Weistec should chime in here.

Yes
Yep. Either way, even with the mods on the car, would like to see a P31 + filters & delete versus Weistec/aftermarket + filters & delete.

I did the filters and charcoal delete almost 2 months ago, and the secondary cat delete was about a month ago so I've been used to those mods for some time now.. My "Feel" was strictly on the tune after it was done. When I drove home the car was noticeably faster then the drive to the shop, and I actually went into it not being fully convinced I was going to gain a whole bunch so my "feel" I believe was not placebo. I was told +30whp that is what I went off, am I agreeing 100% I gained that much power NO, I'm just saying I guarantee it is more than 5whp, even if it is +20whp it would still be a solid gain...

And no where did I state that I did the supporting mods all together, like said above those were done a long time ago.

Thanks, saved me the post and subsequent typing.

Yes, it is quite strange. Allegedly, the results aren't tune only - they're tune + high-flow filters (and char delete?).

But still, the car baselined way, way low. I've hoped that a 2009+ M156 E63 customer would do their own independent dynos to verify the gains, but AFAIK none have done so (and also posted the results, anyway).

That's generous of you, thanks for offering to do the research.

Not sure if you have a vbox, but if you do, it could save you all the trips to the dyno, with some pre- and post-tune 60-130's.

IIRC, this P31 showed a nice gain on the dyno, but the street results were inconclusive:

Maybe DD GT3 RD can chime in here, if he wishes.
