I am not 1 to lecture, so I will leave that part to others...
As cool and adrenaline rushing as it was to watch, it made me cringe to think,
"what if one of them lost control or something unexpected popped onto the road in front of 1 of them"??
The lesson learned for me is, as tempting as it is, don't street race... not worth it. Believe me, I've taken my Z4M roadster to 161 (it wouldnt go anymore) back in 2006 on the FDR drive in NYC (a terrible ripple of a highway). I guess being in my mid 30's w a wife and son changes a person...
Anyhow, be careful my friend, take it to the TRACK!

I was northbound, dropped it to 3rd at around 125th St, had it floor all the way to that ramp leading up to the GWB.. This was about 3am, and about 6 drinks deep. I'm in no way proud of it, and when I reflect back on that night, I seriously count my blessings and know I had an angel guiding the car bc I drive that road back home every night, in considering all those bumps and terrible conditions, Idk how I didn't "catch air", roll 1000x, and wind up in the East River... SICK.

Never again~

Especially at night with that car merging into the highway with its blinkers on!
There would be no way that car could judge how fast you guys were going at night.
