I have been told once again, that the first cars that have arrived are not going to be delivered until april/may as there is a delay in production. They will not release these cars in the port as other BS owners are being bumped on delivery dates, case in point, on Monday they advised me that now my delivery date is end of june begining of July, so I went from April, to may now this crap, going to reconsider this car as this aggrevates the heck out of me. Here in canada, the summers are not long at all, so getting a car for July really sucks.

Apparently there are several Black Series C63's sitting at the Baltimore docks. For reasons yet to be offered to the dealers, MB HQ has not authorized their release to be transported.
I cannot understand why MB wouldn't want payment for these cars earlier rather than later. Maybe it is targeting delivery to all dealers at approximately the same time and is waiting for a prescribed number to arrive from Germany.

I spoke to my dealer yesterday about the fact that a few Canadians already have their cars in halifax and he seems to understand that AMG Canada is not releasing those cars in the port until they have all of the first "batch" of cars ready. Apparently there were snags in the production of this motor and there are numerous cars they are awaiting for before they release them to the dealers. Apparently that is why some of us have been bumped. For your sake I hope he is only trying to make me feel better, and your car is delivered to you soon.
Maybe you guys should attempt to corroborate this with your dealers. Just a suggestion...

I just received infromation from MB (US HQ) that the US C63BS's on the ground are being released to the dealers today. Mine will likely be at my dealer by Thursday or Friday of this week.
