as the countdown on the factory warranty on my c63 another 2 years or 40k and not being eligible for the extended warranty i would like to know if there is anyone here that has purchased any aftermarket warranty, i came acoross this ensureall and just wanted to know if anybody ever heard of them?

Why wouldn't you be eligible for the extended warranty? As long as you get it before your warranty expires at 4 yrs, you are ok (i cant remember the # of miles allowed). They may charge you a 15% premium for not buying it up front, but some dealerships will waive that. Shop around as the price varies considerably!

Definitely shop around. I was quoted anywhere from 39xx to 53xx for the same 3y/100k at different dealerships. And I only emailed a few dealers, maybe could've gotten something cheaper if i kept looking. I was told you just have to be within the original 4/50k.

EDIT: looks like you're from canada, not sure if the original warranty period is the same for you guys.

i didn't buy it from a MB dealer, big mistake bought it private, so unless the vehicle is purchased from a MB dealer you are not eligible for extended warranty

I've contacted ensural.. Might just go with a power train warranty... Prices are decent and another member on here suggested them. They are Canadian owned aswell.

this is really BS how Mercedes does this with the warranty, i was a tech for Volvo and the customers could buy the extended warranty from volvo even if the car was not purchased at a Volvo dealer, the only thing that volvo required was that the car have a full volvo inspection, in this case we would have to have a star inspection...i wonder if theres anything that MB Canada would do if people *****ed enough

I did my own oil changes so now I can't get extended warranty...

I have mods tho and ensural said they are fine with the mods when I emailed the rep.
