My friend has a 2008 c63 and apparently is KAPUT...He asked me to help him source a used engine from over here and export it for him but i have not been successful so far. Figured I would ask the users...
Can anyone guide me in the right direction where I can source one?
I have been looking at accident auctions to see if I can find one with a back end accident but even that has proven abortive.

There was tons of them at auctions if you google it.. I found a bunch, people are always crashing them and they are too expensive to fix, so they get written off easy...

Why doesn't he have it rebuilt? Not hard to order new parts from the dealer and pull the engine.

 

Thanks for the reply. He didn't mention anything about rebuilding the engine cos I think it split or cracked or something...not sure. But he is in Africa and would prefer one be exported from here.

i checked cop art auction but no luck. i will check others.
