Who's removed the factory spoiler?

Who's removed the factory spoiler?
Needing to remove the factory spoiler to install a CF one. What process did you go through? I don't have a heat gun, would a blow dryer work?

Nylon twine helps cut through the adhesive better than floss or fishing line. An eraser wheel that you attach to a drill to remove the left over double-side tape and Goo-Gone to remove the tape residue. Still a PITA!
