2012 C63 AMG

Here is my story;
Late late year I was trying to figure out rather or not to get an M3, C63 or S4. Well in August I ordered the following:
C63 AMG
241 Porcelain/Black Package
799 Diamond White Metallic
P31 AMG Development package
471 Limited Slip Differential
320 Multimedia Package
319 Lighting Package
359 MBRACE
993 Lane Tracking Package
230 Parktronic with parking guidance
889 Keyless Go
739 Aluminum Trim
I requested a March delivery since the winters here in Germany are not that awesome and I was having shoulder surgery. Everything was going to plan and a confirmation was received for 15 March.
Well last Monday I got a call stating that the car was ready. I told them that we had made reservations at a hotel and already bought the train tickets for the 15th so we would like to keep it on that date. They said no problem. Well my mind went wild and I asked the wife if we could cancel the hotel. She got that worked out and I called them back and asked when can I pick her up. They said Friday the 9th (yesterday). I knew that there was no way I was going to stay sane knowing that the car was ready.
We took the train yesterday morning from Ansbach to Stuttgart. I did not sleep very well the night before. We got to the KundenCenter and was greeted very warmly. They took our luggage and the license plates. We then took the english tour that starts at 11:20. The tour was awesome. Lasted almost 2 hours. We followed the production process of the C classes that they build there.
After the tour we got something to eat and then went to meet the car. She is beautiful. The most beautiful car I have ever seen. The staff was awesome and I can not remember being treated so well. They put the license plates on and brought our luggage out to the car. The technician went over every detail of the car.
I had two questions: 1. Whats the break in period and 2nd when can I wash and wax her. His answer to the break in period surprised me. He stated that for the first 750 miles I had to not go faster than 120 MPH and I could occasionally go to 160 MPH and then let it coast back down. I told him that I thought it was 1000 miles and not to exceed 4000 RPM and not to exceed 85 MPH. He stated that the break in period just changed. So that is what I am going with. His answer to the second question was not to wash her for 7 days and then not to wax for 3 months.
Well after that we got in and drove to Frankfurt for the night. Today we drove home. I now have 231 miles on her and hopefully will have 750 miles by the end of next week.. I absolutely love her. I will post some pics when I take some pictures tomorrow.
Well thats my story. If you have the chance to pick your car up at the factory I would recommend that.

Thanks everyone. I hope to take some pics today if the weather cooperates. I only hit 160 mph once. That was on A7 from Wurtzburg southbound. Luckily I still have 16 more months in Germany before I head back to the US.
