o damn..i was excited lastnight getting the car back i drove it pretty hard..

if people were to run without tune after header setups long term what are some problems they will run in? sorry but im really not familiar with this aspect of the car! please chime in!

Higher combustion chamber temperature can (worst case) melt pistons and damage exhaust valves. Also, pre-ignition/detonation sends an extra-hot shockwave at the piston top...most people describe it as akin to hitting the piston with a hammer.

it was just a few redlines...

Well you use RON 98 octane gas which is equal to our 93 octane. That is a very good thing for you...it provides a greater margin of safety. I really think the possibility of damage is virtually nil based on what you have said. Enjoy the car!
