Bark losing teeth?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if fuel type changes the growl/bark? Does richer fuel create a louder/weaker growl?

Thanks.

I've heard of weird questions being tossed around but this one takes the cake.

Richer fuel?? Never heard of that one.
Fuel will not change sound in any way. Ive used MS109 and 91 and there is no change in sound.

It's when the fuel content is much denser and you get more bang for your buck. More MPG I hear...

I kid...

LOL... but no. I moved from the west coast to the east, going from 91 to 93 Octane fuel, and detected no change in the growl.

Isopropyl alcohol should do the trick! LOL Mind you it would definitely poison the beast.

On a serious note... no difference.

actually the opposite is possible in principal, using lower octain will resort in retarding the timing and will detonate earlier / pop more, but you will loose HP.

The temp whether and fog can play differences with exhaust sound ,I've raced cars for many years ,on a cold foggy morning my race car would be over the track Db limit when every other time ( sunny) clear it would be way under
