I'll chase the illusive 9 second pass and you can chase the 10.5 or 10.4 N/A.

Mike - I'll try out the tranny and converter and let you know how they work. If they work as well as I hope they do you should be able to get the 10.5 you are hunting N/A or maybe even better depending on the the weather.

I am going to assume a couple of weeks because of:
"Once accepted we then cryogenically harden all gears, packs, input shaft, and output shaft."
Heat treat etc... takes time.
I'll let you know as soon as its headed home.

The Transmission typically takes about two weeks to complete. At times if could be longer or shorter time span depending on other items in the transmission that are damaged or fatigued. Please view our website to read more details. Let us know if this helps. Thanks!

I bought & made giant thread on this upgrade & ALL needed fittings/hoses/clamps/Pump total cost in parts is UNDER $300.00 delivered to your door. This Co has it for sale NOT including delivery or Tax, @ $699.99 add delivery & Tax you're @ $750-$800 I could see them charging an etc $200 for profit but they're going for $400.00 MB Tax

Just looking out for fellow enthusiasts.. Here's Donny's contact info http://dadscustomintercoolertank.com/services.html
Note he lists huge Engine/trunk combo for $575.00 but the basic single tank under 6 gallons is starting @ $135.00 though I got larger 5.5 gallon @ $150.00

transmission upgrades
IDK anything about Tranny upgrades, but this Co lists cooling kit-Trunk Reservoir & IC pump & needed fittings hoses, the Trunk Tanks are easily recognized (Donny Bailey makes them from mid-west he lists on Ebay & may have his own site now, cost $120-$150 in any 5.5 gallon or smaller diamensions, you tell him your exact space in trunk & he'll custom fab it to your every need inc diff bung fittings etc)

Although neither a shill for any MBW sponsor nor beholden to IB's business interests,
Weistech Engineering seems to be doing rather well with its aftermarket M156 hardware and software products.
Several here have had occasion to view my DIY transmission builds though. :y

Most members apparently aren’t quite as DIY oriented/inclined/accomplished or as thrifty as you.

But, you then ramble on about intercooler reservoir tanks, fittings, and whatnot... which no one was talking about, nor asking about. So, at least to this one third-party onlooker, your post seemed rather strange. No need to act hostile and confused when someone else tries to point that out, while still giving you credit for your own resourcefulness.

I think splinter was politely trying to point out that the subject of this thread is Weistec's built trans upgrades, and your post, while interesting, starts with "I don't know anything about transmission upgrades."

Splinters post is full of unwarranted sarcasm, I'm over it.. Again just trying to help fellow members save $400-$500 bucks on the SAME EXACT parts..

I build my own transmissions. You could too, thereby saving thousands of dollars in labor charges. And parts are less expensive buying at wholesale.

Totally understand your point of view & respect it Though again I wasn't rambling, I innocently used the enclosed link to Weistec's site & stumbled upon their offering Reservoir kit. I was replying to the OP who started this thread..
I figured people who'd be interested in taking a SuperCharged MB to MAX w/Weistecs latest Built Tranny upgrades, would 110% want a rear ice Reservoir..

However, At the prices it takes to SC the C63 I don't think people will care about spending $500 more.
