Actually, that's a good point. With the Vivid setup, it can be hard to have a conversation if you're in S. Of course if you don't want to hear the other person, by all means Sometimes the lady likes to do makeup in the car on her way to work so S doesn't work there either. Unless it's one of those days we're rushing...then I tell her all bets are off.

C when car is warming up to correct oil temp, actually C mode for most commute daily driver driving, S mode when another sportscar or sports sedan pulls next to me at a stoplight or stop sign, M mode when doing the serious backroads and tracking. By %'s I am in C mode approx 70% of the time. With a sprint booster, the M mode "seems" to come alive, as the shifts appear to be quicker with sooner delivery of power. I was thinking of getting a flash tune, but the sprint booster is holding me over at this time. A flash tune must be insane!

There is not much of a delay but it isn't as "instant" as a true dual clutch... very fast though and nothing that feels "delayed".

+1
I hate when folks refer to the C63 as a tiptronic automatic.
I just give them the nod like,"Yea, uhhuh, tiptronic"

btw, I just LOVE my C63 hahahahaha

Speedshift it is. I also notice it seem it gets faster the higher rpm you change gears. Instead of one eye blink it's like half way while my eyes are close. LOL.
