c63 as daily driver w supercharger?
Hello all. I recently bought a 2011 C63. I have another car but my c63 has pretty much become my daily driver since it is such a joy to drive. I am extremely tempted to get a Weistec Stage 1 supercharger system installed. is this a wildly stupid idea for a daily driver from a reliability perspective? i will probably do 10k miles/year... maybe 12-13k with track fun.
also, this is a shot in the dark, but has anyone used or known of anyone that has used C2 Design in tampa as a Weistec installer? they are on the Weistec website but a personal referral is always nice.
thanks for any input!

I would do it. You will love it. Most off all my cars have been SCed. I love it, you will see an immediate increase in power and if you are using it as a DD you will also see an increase in gas mileage with highway mileage..... but.... you will deff burn through some tires with the increase in hp and torque..... but it is a small price to to one of the few with a blower on their C63... Do it.

Is the Weistec SC Kit worth the money without LTH?
Won't a tune and long tube headers give better results? I presume that with an X-Pipe and a silencer kit the car would still be a comfortable DD.

I don't think there should be any issue with the tranny. I know Mercedes of Buckhead in Atlanta, GA install these kits. If you want I can give you Kevin's contact info and he will give you all the details inside and out.

What does the stage I bring the rwhp to? They keep the stock exhaust correct?

thanks for all the replies. and here i thought everyone would say it would be a dumb idea as a DD. I guess this is the wrong forum for the voice of reason against getting a supercharger lol. i also want to follow up w my dealer to see how they would feel about servicing a car that had a weistec kit installed.
James, thank you very much for the background there. i sent C2 an email about a quote. i havent heard back yet. ill give them a call and see if I can get some details. based on that other thread i read, it looks like i should go with weistec everything and not mess about with other tunes etc.
