Photoshoot with proper camera soon. U should start a thread with ur car pics.. It would be nice to see more of it.
I'm planning on getting some proper pics up within the next week or so - I just haven't had time to clean and detail the car.
I'd actually like to see more pics of your car with the HREs!

I'll try to take better pics of my wheels/car this week-end. Last week pics were taken by my wife & her iPhone. Lol
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I'm so impressed by the Hankook Evo v12 tires, they grip so much better than my old General UHP. Thnk to Karl (_AMG_) for his recommendation.

I have previously had 2 sets of 285/25/20 Pirelli P Zero Nero on rear and just replaced them with Hankook S1 EVO. I think I prefer the Hankook, plus they have a higher tread wear 280 compared to 220 on the Pirelli's so hopefully they will last longer. The sidewall on the Hankook is a lot squarer than the Pirelli. Thinking of trying Nitto Invo next as 285 25 are very hard to get in Australia not to mention expensive.

Also check out the DIY in the C class forum.

If you look in the wheel well you will find that the fender liner on the passenger side is 5/8" closer to the mounting hub than it is on the driver's side wheel well. From the rotor outer face to the shock is 6 3/4" on either side. On my new wheels ET 53 I have about 1/4" clearance to the shock. If you look at the bracket that holds the wires for the ABS and Brake wear sensors they are 7" on the driver's side but only 6 3/8" on the passenger side from the rotor face. Also the fill pipe for the gas tank is only 6 1/2" inch from the rotor face. My tire actually touches the fender liner in full droop but has a little clearance at ride height. That is one possible source for it to rub. You may be able to pull the fender liner away from the wheel/tire at the bracket for the sensor wires but it does not look like you will be able to do much to pull the liner back at the fill pipe.
Mine also looks like it might rub the fender lip but I have not had in out on the street yet to find out if it will rub under compression. I have Michelin PSS in 275/30R19 on 10" wide wheels and lowered on H&R springs same as you but full drop in the rear and not using the thicker spring pad. It is a tight fit for sure.
U should be ok with ur 19x10 +53mm w/275/30 & H&R.. My SV1 didn't rub, if it did, it was very slightly on that same side. Did u post pics of ur new wheels yet? Can't wait to see them, it's going to be epic!! Lol
