Finally in the HRE family :)
1) As u must know, I was complaining about slight rubbing on the passenger rear over bumps, so I decided to go down from 275/30/19 to 265/30/19 & happy with the decision as I have no more rubbing now. For those who wonders, I'm running 19x9.5 +50mm rear.
Another solution for the rubbing would be to shave 3mm off the back plate of the wheels (making my offset +53mm).. but I'm afraid to affect the structural integrity of the wheels.
2) Now that my rear are flush & rub free.. Can someone tell me if I use 10mm spacers in the front of my HRE 19x8.5 +40mm = +30mm will be rub free? (my front tires are 245/35/19)
So anyone running this set-up can chime in.. 19x8.5 +30mm with 245/35/19?

Hyperion, I don't need spacers on my HRE.. I'm just playing with the idea to make the front flusher although they are pretty flush as is. All the pics above are w/o spacers.. Do u think it's flush enough in the front?
Seriously, I will just leave my front HRE alone instead of spending more on spacers to find out they will rub. Lol
I don't know if I would know what do do with those things.....couple of things come to mind

was looking at you pix on this thread......very nice looking wheel finish....
I'm waiting on my third set for my Pcar...(with same finish)...waiting waiting waiting.........

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
So in summary, 19x8.5 + 45mm + 5mm = +40mm = no good cuz 5mm is not hubcentric.
19x8.5 +45mm + 10mm = +35mm = rubbing a bit on the inner fenders?
So my 10mm (+30mm) won't work then.. And buying non-hubcentric 5mm (+35mm) is not good cuz it will cuz vibrations.. Am I correct Mort?

My tires with a 10mm spacer definitely rub on the inner fender. You can see the rub marks plainly. It was rubbing the outer 1/2 - 5/8" of the tread on the inner fender frequently and just rubbing the fender a bit where it meets the bumper and along the edge of the bumper a little.
Going to have a look at it over the winter but I am not too hopeful.
And yeah, u saved me an unecessary spending for 5mm spacers that might give me more headache than good. I just got rid of my rear rubbing & certainly don't want to add it to the front. Lol
I guess my 10 & 12mm spacers will only be used on my oem 19's. Hope they will centered well & won't rub.
I'm running 5mm spacers in the rear and had no vibration issues. if you get a 3mm spacer you are likely able to reuse your oem bolts and still get enough turns to be safe. I was only 1 or 1.5turns short with oem bolts with my 5mm spacers.
Here is a pic of my front wheel... so can you tell me how much roughly am I missing to be flush?

Here is where my Garage Queen is sitting after 2 years... anyone interested in a slightly used C63? Muhahaha!
