Quote: Nice new car and you have it looking great. The CF5s look very nice in the gunmetal on Magnetite black.

For cleaning the dealer here turned me on to Permanon. I have never used it but think I will when I clean up my car and get it out for the summer. It is a nano protection product as well like that mentioned by gthal. The Permanon is very easy to use and why the dealer uses it to save shop time.
Thx!

Quote: I'm all Mac. For the in car shot I used an iPhone 4s and outside is a Kodak plays sport shot in 720dpi 60fps. I have a hi def Sony but the 4s was more than capable plus I can mount it up side down and will automatically orient itself. for editing, I use Imovie that almost every apple computer has. It's cool because I can also edit in my iPad and iPhone besides my desktop. It does not have all the fancy features that higher end editors have but sometimes that just makes it more complex.

Regarding your wheels, so it's not dealer installed right?
Cool, same here...won't go Windows - total garbage. Will have to play around on mine a bit more. Thanks for the tip!

Quote: Beautiful car. At the end of the day, a car with great lines looks best in black IMHO.

I had a choice between black and Palladium Silver. I went with Palladium, recalling how difficult it was to keep my black Lexus clean. Boy was I wrong in thinking PS would be better.

I love the black and I completely understand why you switched out. Bigger grin factor and getting EVERYTHING you want is important.
100% agree...the equipment has changed the experience a bit for me - loving it so far.

Love your wheels mate! I also have the '12 magnetite black. Was thinking of flat black vinyl for the grille, window trim, doors and rear chrome parts, does anyone think this will look funny against the metallic black? Does anyone have any pics?

blacking out the entire car has been done by a few members here.. try a search for them. There are also normal W204 platforms that are blacked out too in other sections of this forum

A fully blacked out C63 looks great! very mysterious

Yeah looks mad on regular black but having trouble finding it on the magnetite black. I guess it wouldn't look bad tho right?! Anybody know someone good that can do this in LA?

Cheers

Blacking out a car will just make it look 'ghetto' and take away all its elegance, IMHO of course.

it really depends on your vision i guess. PetroC63's car is pretty sweet imo.... might not work for everyone but it looks mean!
