Sounds like it was getting broke in properly to me.
Until I heard the guy bounce it off the rev limiter for 5 seconds lol.
It's a Canadian car.. Ontario somewhere looks like.. I predict big drama over this.

These guys are gonna face some serious consequences.
Similar thing happened a few months ago when 2 BMW employees took a 1M on a joyride. The really got into some deep **** after that video surfaced.

If you follow the street in google street view, you will see that this should be "Star Motors" in Ottawa.

Yep, this is definitely Star Motors from Ottawa. I presume it's the white BS with track pack they just sold to a customer. It might be the owner of the car taking it for a test drive. (??)

Also I don't think think the owner of this car would show the passenger how properly the rev limiter pops in for almost 5 sec on a brand new engine...

I stand corrected.. I've spoken to my friend who works in that dealership.. And he told me it was the mechanics doing a test drive. It's bad as u would think a test drive means no joy ride.

I would be so upset! Someone needs to download this video so they guy can't remove it and send it in to jalopnik.. they love stuff like this!
ps. If it is in ontario they clearly went 50 over in a 50 since the guy goes that was a 0-60 (referring to 0-60 mph ~100km/h) right as they pass a 50km/h sign. That would warrant an impound by police! Then they say something at 7:08 about "getting the **** kicked out of it for 30kms" -definitely referring to the car.

Dude was saying the gear doesn't automatically up shift when it hits the red line in the manual mode. Usually, cars automatically up shift for you even though you are in manual mode to save your engine.
