KW V3s Finally Installed! (PICS)
After sitting in my basement all winter I finally had the time to bring it in to get installed.
Here are the results... Finally that hideous front wheel gap is GONE!
The car rides beautifully! Having the former KW lead engineer in the family sure helps when one needs a suspension setup perfectly!
If anyone is on the fence about V3s... Stop waiting and go out and get 'em!!!

Only thing I'll probably do is add a front lip once one is available.
The ride is very very compliant. Much more comfy then the stock P31 suspension that was on there.
The V3s are height, rebound and compression adjustable so you can set them to whatever suits you best... stiffer then stock or softer then stock

Your going to have to raise the car a bit as the springs will tend to sag by .5 to an inch after about 2 To 3 weeks. Also in my opinion the front is a bit too low as the car has too much rake in it. What happens is when you come on the breaks hard the nose will dive and create a more caster ...
I have these same shocks and just saying from experience ..

^^ good point! Can he lower the back more to lessen the rake look? Gosh, makes me want to get a set of coilovers like these so I can adjust height & stiffness.

Very nice looking suspension package. Are you planning on tracking the car? Going to set it and forget it or change it for different driving applications?

Same here!
I'm not exactly sure. I'll have to ask my brother. He designed/engineered this suspension at KW when he was there.
I believe the Club Sports or a hybrid of the V3 and Club sport was used on the Black Series.
I dunno... I've never had any KW suspension sag on me. I've had KWs on my 993, 335i, VW GTi mkV, SLK and 350Z they had stayed the same height from when I first installed them. But good looking out! I'll keep an eye on it for the next 2 weeks and let you know. I did raise the front yesterday night about 5mm.
I plan on going to 1 or 2 track days a year. My brother set it for both street and some track.... Without losing street/everyday driveability.
KWs were at sponsorship price which unfortunately I'm not allowed to disclose (Family discount) and the install didn't cost anything (family labor) hahahaha

That is butter and your one lucky son of a gun to get them for free. I need to get a set of those. So your saying te ride can be set softer and harder than stock? Amazing.
