Weistec Supercharged M156 , Results & photos inside
I recently purchased a Weistec supercharger for my M156 SL63. Steven from Weistec was very proffesional and provided top class customer service. The communication with Steven and in fact with all the weistec staff is top class. They were always available to answer my phone calls and E-mails in a proffesional manner. The installation was completed professionally at NBK Prime Ride in Qatar, Which is a Weistec authorised dealer in Qatar. Here are some photos of the build and the unit that was installed on my engine.
Trust me when I say the car has transformed into a beastly monster. The most amazing part about this supercharger is that the quality and tone of factory driving has not changed bit. It is truly a A+ upgrade.
I already had LT headers + ECU tune + catless pipes and my car was making 465rwhp. This graph doesnt show the torque value, because initially I did not know where the RPM sensor should have been placed and thanks to mbworld member "Mthis" I learned where the location was. Here is the previous dyno results without the SC:
After the supercharger installation. I recieved the Weistec Stage 1+ tune for my ECU and I hit the car hard after about 100km just to let the SC system adapt. I took it again to the dyno and this was the result:
All my pre and post dyno runs were done on 4th gear. Maximum HP reached 603 RWHP and 546 ft/lbs RWTQ. I gained about 138RWHP at the wheels. I am really happy with how the car preforms. It was shooting flames at the dyno. I am compiling a video and will post it pretty soon.
I am really excited with Weistec Engineering with the way they transformed my SL63 into a brutal beast.

You're right, that is rich but a) it cools the combustion chamber, and b) it surely provides a margin of safety. At 12.5:1 there's probably another 20+HP to be found but if it were mine I'd go for safety.

Looks and performs fantastic Jacob! I've always loved that red SL of yours, better keep it locked up when I visit Qatar
Are you going to paint the heat transfer/intercooler rad flat black so it disappears behind the grill or leave it as is?

Congrats! Those are some sick numbers! Getting that power to the ground should be fun!
What does an SL baseline? What is the overall gain from stock to Headers + Tune + SC?

The SL is a sick car. Maybe for my next toy. I am messing with something else right now that I just picked up. That is why I didn't mod my C63 any further. It was mod the C63 or get another toy. I choose the toy and keep my lowly "Tune Only"
