Bought her a 2011 BMW X5 with sports activity package, charcoal. I really love the car, very smooth and comfortable. All the family road trips are with her car not mine!

 

My wife and I do not find the C63 comfortable on road trips. She finds the seat bottoms too firm and my lats are getting a little wide for the upper bolsters.

 

The C63 is not that comfortable but then again, it's great for long trips that need good back support. The x5 is the opposite. I like both cars, would not trade any of the 2 they are a perfect combination. All I need is a BAC Mono race car and I'm all set!

 

My wife with kids drive around in the MB tank....2011 GL350 BT with the blingy AMG package which includes the very fat 21" wheels...we still get about 1000km per tank, very impressive.

 

My ex wife still has the black 1997 M-3 I bought her, I had a matching one in yellow. Her license plate said "Killah" and my said "Bees". It was fun to park them next to each other.

 

Don't buy the Cayenne, it's way overprice for what you get and you also get to have the "Porsche Experience" cha-ching everytime you take it in for service. The new X3 has the same room as the orginal X5 and the twin turbo 3.5L motor is a blast. For fun you might also look at the Audi. The Infinity FX50 is a blast to drive also. My overly pratical asian wife went with the safe and boring Lexus RX350. It's really boring to drive Although my buddy may be selling his SLK55 which she'd love as second car.

 

Finally got her over to the dark side, she went from an 06 m3 cab to a 12 c63 coupe, she says she will never choose a BMW over a Benz again!!!

 

Range Rover Sport : She likes the rugged good looks. I like it more than I expected but I'm waiting for it to break.

I love that truck. She's about to steal my C63, she loved the car.

 

2012 BMW X3 28i. Traded her 2009 335i for it... tough trade, but the X3 is quick enough with the 8 spd auto and the 335i was overkill for her.

 

Wifey drives the C63 as much as I do...she LOVES it.....so we share it.....but it's not our "everydayer'....which is an Astra SRI.
Sinse owning the C63, she's become very enthusiastic, of course about AMG, but also about M.B.
So, she's waiting for the "New" A Series to be released.....and then we'll see what happens?

At times I wish my wife could drive a stick..at other times..not so much.

 

2006 Lexus IS350. I have tried to get her to get something newer but she gets attached to her cars.

 

2nd tour of duty with an R Class, brought back the 09 and got a 2012 Bluetec. The refresh gives it a much classier, cohesive look and love the panoroof, Harmon Kardon and great mileage. Best family transport vehicle. Ever!
