my wife bananas! :D
Nigeria aside, there are some parts of Toronto, I don't feel comfortable driving my car and parking (and this is only a C63). Would guess this applies to many if not all cities in N.A. too.

hahhahahhaha @ pickles..... well regardless , as fung has stated, there are some areas i wouldn't be comfortable driving to in the car, for security reasons.
but we dont have armed bandits etc on the streets waiting, cos we have cops almost everywhere , i guess the bandits are on the highways to other cities occasionally and even at that only at night time, so better to drive in the day to avoid trouble

Credit to you dude for importing that car to Nigeria, I can only imagine the duties you had to pay to clear customs!
I love seeing sick cars in developing nations. Was in India last year and seen a Veyron and more Ferrari's and lambos than in London city centre!
On a side note, since the car is not officially available in Nigeria how is your local mercedes dealer in terms of servicing?

in terms of servicing, i am the new mechanic for the car... waiting for 2k miles to change LSD oil, when something very major comes up, have some prof handy dudes who can handle the repairs.... our benz dealers wont touch cars from the states,lol........as if we care
duties was crazy but well worth it after i pressed my foot on the gas..........lol

Congrats and welcome!
Congratulations! Nice car and you got the P31 package too! Is that color pure black (code 040)? Nice to have another person from the same continent. I'm in Uganda, so just about 4,000km from you.

LOL! I actually checked on google directions and it's like a 8,000km drive via Kenya, Ethopia, Sudan, Chad etc. I think a G300 CDI Professional would be more suitable for that trip. ;-)

The Range Rovers air suspension will not survive the constant pothole hits from some of those roads hence the G class. A Land Rover Defender could do as well but not as comfortable when hitting potholes at speed. ;-)

Lol at some careful comments. If you can afford an amg in Nigeria (probably costed like 200k+ after everything), you're definitely not the one to be afraid to be carjacked, probably it's the other way round, lol...

hey peeps, i tried to order an ecu tru my friend in the states who helped me purchase the car. i was told the ecu can be ordered but for them to tie it to my vin, my car has to be at the dealer. is that true? cos that cant be possible since car is miles and miles from the states..........
is there any tool i can buy to help me tune it myself..... so all i have to do is buy the raw data files from a tuner and upload it to my car
