Dads Performance offers the C63BS hood in Carbon Fiber
Hey Guys,
I am working on dupicating the new C63 BS hood in Carbon Fiber. Once I get the hood in my hands we will look at it and see whats functional and whats not concerning the stock scoops etc.. Are you all interested?
From what I understand it will fit the new coupe and sedan along with the Black Series itself. Let me know and I'll continue if there's enough interest. Please let me know.

This will be for the 2012 body style and up. I could make a stock hood or a BS style hood but I assumed people would prefer the BS style over the stock style. Even if you have a stock C63 the BS style hood will fit and look better anyway in carbon fiber.

The BS comes with an aluminum hood, which weighs very little as is. There's definitely an interest in a CF version. More so for the visual appeal I believe, seeing as there won't be a significant reduction in weight to justify what it may cost. Regardless I think it will look great, especially with the CF exterior package that some BS have. I'd be interested in getting the air vent indents in CF. Any possibility?

The stock hood feels very light already, it's actually very annoying because the hood shocks is too strong and it takes a lot of force to close the hood properly compared to a standard c63.

Jeez, Keith, do you ever rest?
You're going to make me buy the 2012 headlights and the new hood, aren't you? That's the last thing I need...

I think they're welded on the hood. When I was getting my car wrapped it was left on because it wasn't easily removable.
