E92 M3 can take first gear to 45 MPH. At 35 MPH the M3 is at roughly 7000 RPM. Not a good start.
Good start for the M3 would be at 50MPH at 6500 RPM in 2nd gear.
I left out different starts...
At 35 MPH in 2nd gear the M3 would be at 4000 RPM. I dont think thats a good start RPM for the M3. Maybe an owner of one can chime in.

propain whats a good gear and speed for our cars to start and is good gearing start the reason Hagi got the jumped you and the cls that day?

Me in 1st geat at about 45 MPH at 5100 RPM. I did nothing but spun 1st and 2nd gear. If you watch the nose of my car you can see it. Once I grab 3rd im gone. Hagi was on Drags so he was a bit more sticky too.
Me in 2nd gear at about 50 MPH @ 3800 RPM. Still spun but only for a second. I was on stock tires. I need drags bad..

60MPH and above is good for the C63 start. I belive 4th for the C63 at about 3500 RPM and 2nd for me at 4600. Not ideal for the C63.
To answer your question though 2nd gear at 40 MPH is ideal to start a roll race in the C63.
