I did not reuse the bracket. My friend actually made his own bracket to fit there for me. I'll take a pic of it later today. It is a fairly easy thing to do I believe... and since his skills > mine, it fit perfectly lol

Here is a pic of the bracket that my friend fabricated. It's just a simple metal piece but he bent it to shape, drilled holes and painted black.

You can drill out the rivets or you can buy a replacement bracket at the dealership and attach it to the diffuser its your choice.

On a totally unrelated note, I parked my C63 at one of the furthest parking spots so it'll be alone when I went to play soccer. After the game, there were a couple M3s, a X5 ///M, a heavily modded 370z and a 1series parked around my car.
always gives me a chuckle how this tends to happen. We all park further away and close to other like cars hoping that they will treat your car with care cause they dont want to ding their own

2 things to update.
1) on the 404 then 401, I saw this early 2k year mustang GT... this vehicle must've been really modded. First it sounded fantastic (catless I'm guessing), lots of CF everywhere, and it's acceration was extremely quick. I didn't race with it (busy highways) but i think it would've easily beat my stock C63.
2) I installed my CF Spoiler. On sunday (pending weather) I will wash the car and take some pics... let me say that I am pretty blown away with how the car looks now

There are alot of meets that goes on. Ertefa is a weekly one that happens every Thursday near 407/400. Its a pretty large gathering actually.
also if you guys haven't checked out puremb.com I suggest you to sign up there. I'm new there as well but they have meets and events. Of course, lots of MBs to see

First off, that was a good couple of soccer games today. Denmark was stout in its defense and Germany made the most of that lone goal they got from Gomez. So far so good for Euro 2012!
It was a beautiful day so I decided to wash the car. I dont have time to do a full writeup right now so I figured I'll load up a preview pic of the spoiler.
enjoy.

Really? I'm not a member on puremb.. so it wasn't my comment. Too bad you can't link that thread on here.. it would be interesting to know what went wrong with your spoiler.
It looks like you & Fung had to ship back the spoilers... not a good thing!

Nevermind, I found the thread with google help... you had issue with your CF diffuser, not trunk spoiler like Fung.
Well, hope you will have better luck in your future search or project on your CF diffuser!
