So the only way to get another tuners tunes loaded onto this device is by sending our ecu to you? So how would we be able to have multiple tunes from another tuner loaded on this device at the same time?

I have question:

I already have OBD2 hardware (ScanTool USB+Bluetooth - http://www.scantool.net/obdlink-bluetooth.html) and I have previously used it to program certain BMW features and clear codes on my MB.

Can I just order the software and use my OBD2 hardware to flash the MB ECU?

I don't think that will be possible, maybe jerry can further answer if it is with multiple files besides stock and their tune.

No. One car per programmer. If you sell the car or programmer the new owner would have to pay $200 to change the vin to their car.

Can this device be used to load and un-load non-Eurocharged tunes or can it only be used with Eurocharged tunes?

Also, will this programmer work on W211 E63, W212 E63, C219 CLS63, CLK63 BS or is it only designed for the C63 ?

I am just curious if faster/smoother shift is just a byproduct of more power from the engine or do you guys actually tune TCU?

Yes but with a caveat. You would need to send your ecu to houston to be backed up to our file structure to be read by the handheld. You could then switch between stock and tuned, but your tuner couldn't write more files for the device. Make sense?

This programmer also works with C300, all 350, all 550, all 63 N/A cars! (jerry will have a vid up soon with his CLK63 black series)


we change parameters in the ecu to help with shifting but do not change the tcu. We are working on that seperately as well.

yes sir! We do it as a joke to friends all the time, limit them to 20mph etc. You would just have a valet file as one of your four and flash that to the car.

I purchased the programmer and tune this afternoon. I have a 2010 completely stock and thought I'd get a little more power. I wish I had LSD though. Anyone know a good shop in Chicagoland area that does installs?

first have a valet flash written for your car, and load it to the device.

Flash that file instead of your tune file (takes a little over a minute) drive to the valet and hand the keys. When you get back in, pull up to somewhere you can park, flash back to tune and away you go!

Valet mode sounds cool but could u actually use it? I mean u pull up to the restaurant and u gotta get the device out..open the port etc.. cars beeping behind, wife getting peeved... Apart from that, it would be good if it was RPM limited rather than 20pmh or so as in LA they often have to drive them around the block to another lot...

1) Anyway... How does the loaner problem work?

2) I don't have easy access to a PC, only mac, will this be a prob?
