02 CLK 55 AMG,09 C63 loaded with P30
To show how fast Propains Z06 is when he ran that Cls 63 TT OE-tuned. Which put 565whp sae and 605trq sae. The z06 pulled away uptop. We all know the tuned Cls63 TT is a monster.

The CLS63 is a beast with a performance package and tuned. Pretty much a dead even match for a Z06 from a roll ******* it out of 2nd. If I had drags and could start in my power band I would have put a little distance between me and the CLS. Then we would have ran dead even till about 135 and then the Z06 pulls away a bit to... ugh... 175 I believe we took it to.
Hagi was on drags so he has no issue launching as you can see!

The big dogs. Horrible start RPM for the Z06. All I did was spin through 1st and 2nd. You can see the nose of my car dancing all over the place. By 3rd we were gone. My Gopro was dead in my car so I don't have any top end pulls with the CLS.

There is always someone with a faster car----I don't think that was the point of the post. The z06 is a very fast car for the $$$s. But the build quality is far below a MB. It is nice to be able to afford a variety of cars! Propain obviously is a car guy who can appreciate that fact.

Still on the fence though about the build quality. I have the 3LZ package though so its an upgrade from the standard. Its sure makes a lot more noise! Its lacking the sound damping material of the MB for sure.

If you ARE going with a high lift cam I would recommend changing the springs, guides and valves.
Also if its prior to 2007 change the rocker arms.

Dud I seriously hate you right now, I've thinking of the zo6 for the past two weeks then you go and post a pic of this car. It's almost the same color of my Porsche very sexy. I also have a huge weakness for blue cars on top of it. Don't take me wrong I love the c63 but people here give way way way too much credit. You can make that zo6 soooooooooo much faster with a fraction of the cost. I'm seriously going to stop by the dealer today after work and taking another look at the zo6.
