C63 BS Delivered
Posted this over on the PL
Coming from 2010 C63 w/P31.
Of course the car is stunning and totally agressive. I love the Mars Red and the Matte blk wheels. The Pano roof is totally cool and a beautiful match to the wheels and carbon ext pkg, which is very nicely done.
The interior is perfect. The seats are great, and I found the driving position better than the sedan. I dont mind the tex and the Alacantara inserts are slip proof. The contrast stitching is a nice touch, and of course with a red car a match. Cant comment on rear seat comfort as i have the delete!
The ride is much much firmer than the sedan, but not jarring as stated in TOP GEAR. I put on 75 city and highway miles last night. The Black is very planted and handles extremly well. It feels like a car set up for track use in every aspect of handling. The steering is very precise. The brakes (of course I am easy on them now)are much improved grab than the 2010.
The 7 Speed is improved over the 2010 transmission. Not blinding shift speed but very satisfactory. Obviously break in the car car has loads of grunt and torque. The sound is a bit deeper than the 2010 but very AMG NA V8 bellows.
The Coupe doors open much wider than the sedan and the driver seat slides foward when folded. Funny the passenger seat is power height and manual fore and aft. Weight saving, kinda amusing. Inside the Pano roof is super kool. The AMG Perf Media
is very interesting and informative with all the readouts. Ina=have to RTFM today to see if I can get the readings in F not C and lbs not Bars etc. We will see. I like that the command screen is built in and no longer a popup.
Sorry for the long post.

Actually its a no cost option at least in the USA. If your order included the code 224 you get 2 nice stitched seats that fold. I had no need for them. If no order code than MB deletes the seats. My guess is there were a few orders that got fouled up on this.

The front seats are the same regardless, both fold and move forward for rear shelf access.

Yup, my dealer called me the day I was scheduled to pick up my car and informed me that it had no rear seats. A BIG MIX UP. Most dealers only order 1 of these cars and have no history on the options. In any event, at least I have less weight to carry around.
BTW, I live in Northern New Jersey so there is an outside chance you will see your car (sans black forged wheels) coming at, or driving from, you.

I was never fond of Dunlop rubber and I have concerns over the
Excessive tire wear and ease of replacement
I still not sure about that rear cooler
Can you see it?? At least it's obvious looking through te front grill the extra cooling that te BS has but I have never seen a real explanation of the diff cooler

I have the ordering guide on my laptop, can send to you later (on my iPad now). It's available in the AMG Private Lounge, as well.
