Questions on 2010 C63
Hey guys, I'm considering a 2010 C63. This particular one seems well optioned, but not fully optioned. It has NAV, but no back up camera (didn't even know this was possible), front and rear sensors, harmon kardon stereo etc.
Here's my question, when I drove it, I was cruising at about 50km per hr (Yes, I'm in Canada). I punched the accelerator and was hoping to hear the exhaust open up and the road get devoured by the car, but instead, there was some hesitation, almost a studder, before it picked up. Now, I had the traction control on (mostly because I didn't know how to turn it off) and the car was in regular drive, not sport mode.
Is this normal?
There's quite a few 2009's available, so I'd consider one of those if you guys say this is specific to the 2010's. Is it?
The guy who owns it now is a banker, he says he just drives it to work and back, seemed believable. Maybe the car has just become used to normal cruising and not sport driving?
Thanks in advance for your opinion's and help.

The lag was the one thing I didn't like about the car, but I had it in my C350 before that too so I knew it was something I'd have to deal with.
After having the Eurocharged tune on my car, the throttle response is much more to my liking. I haven't felt that lag anymore either. When I go full throttle nobody can wipe the smile off my face, especially going through a tunnel.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Others can chime in on their personal experiences, but for me the positives about the car outweighed the negatives by a long shot and I am extremely happy with my 2010.

my wife bananas! :D
I have a 2010 c63 and the delay you are feeling is just lag. If everything else checks out, buy the car, buy warranty (if you are planning to keep it for awhile) and get a tune.
how much does the banker want for it and how many kms? It has premium package yes?

You are looking at about 1300-1400 give or take $100.
As for the lag, do a quick search for people's impression after a tune. You'll love it

that's a pretty good deal you got there for $50.5k.. i'm also in the hunt for a 2010 but most dealerships in my location price is at 51-55k and they won't bulge. good luck with your purchase.

I think he is doing it via private party so it wont be a CPO car. Makes a difference in price for sure

Lucky you, most are at $59k here and won't budge for similar cars with lower mileage.

Fung is right, this is a private purchase so no CPO, but there is still one year left from the original warranty. I guess I could purchase additional warranty... should i? If I should, are you guys telling me this is not a reliable vehicle?
Thanks for the info Loungn, I think I will definitely get the car eurocharged. Is this really the best tune? I'm really more interested in getting this if it will help with the hesitation when accelerating. If it's just more power, but the same hesitation, it's not as appealing to me.

That seems high though, I've always thought that 2010s with under 20k miles and all the options minus p31 and lsd where worth low to mid 50s, or is that pretty rare?
