Looking to buy a c63 in the near future just wondering all of the differences. I know the bumpers are different along with the dash and transmission. Is the transmission that much better? Also I was told that the 2012 ones have problems with oil seeping through the block I'm not sure if that is true.

I picked up my 2012 on 1/30/12. Having driven ///M's pretty much until jumping ship to ///AMG, I never looked back.

Idk know much about the previous models and the differences besides what you stated, but I haven't had any problems to date (2000 miles).

My advice would be to go and test drive both if you can. A few members have told me about my MCT not having a torque converter in comparison to the previous models, however I have no complaints about the MCT whatsoever.

I will close with, "this car is a BEAST and I have a GRIN on my face every time I start her up or mash the gas pedal!!!"

Having owned a 2010 and now a 2012 in my opinion the transmission is much better...shifts are faster and more crisp. I saw the tranny as a negative on my 2010. I definitely don't feel that way anymore.
