Sales Rep Recommendation : SoCal : Laguna Niguel or Other
I've heard good things about:
-Laguna Niguel
-Fletcher Jones
Looking to get a new C63 Coupe. Also if you happen to have bought a C63 Amg coupe lately, what kind of deal did you get ?
Thank for your help.
My first experience with Fletcher Jones was them trying to charge me $350 for a part under warranty. I told the guy I'd rather use super glue than pay him $350 for something under warranty and he just said that was my decision and walked away. Needless to say I didn't return.
Stay away from fetcher jones. Far far away. They were so unprofessional and full of lies. They made me waste 3 hours of my time and a tank of gas by telling me they had a BS order that was cancelled and up for grabs. They said it was sitting at the dealer and ready for me. I drove from Temecula just to find out they had no BS available, and then they tried to get me to buy the C63 coupe, when I was already driving a C63 sedan.
Call Ryan at MB San Diego, and tell him Nelson refered you. He'll take care of you.
I bought my 2009 C63 in august of 2008. and while everyone else I know was charging over sticker, he was able to get me a discount on msrp, not much, but at that time the car was pretty hard to get.
Tell him Ted with the bs sent you, He'll take care of you.

You may find that timing helps a great deal (no pun...) Last day of the month, last day of a holiday weekend, last days of the year, etc. They have goals to meet for these occasions and are willing to be flexible that means they will reach/beat their goals. Even a weekday that has been painfully slow can result in a great deal at 8:30-9 pm.

Laguna caters to the AMG crowd as the owers are at many of the AMG events, Pat Boulter is the GM and a great guy. This would be a great place to develop a relationship as they support AMG's racing effort. Their parts department is second to none. Finding the Sales Rep that connects with you is the key.
whenever i test a car, i always ask the sales guy how long they have been there and if anywhere before
it seems they trade alot of people like they are sports team
BTW, the turn over in the car biz is about the same as stock brokers, insurance sales and just about every other sales profession.
