2012 Seat Support Question (Air filled or mechanical)
Are the side lateral supports (the ones that make you feel nice and snug on your ribs) filled electrically with AIR? Or are they completely mechanical?
I ask this because it seems when I get in to my car after it has been sitting over night or after a 9 hour day at work, it seems they have deflated or opened up, hence I have to reset them again. (which is fine)...
Either I'm losing weight in that period or they're somehow filled with air?
Just curious about every detail of my prized possession

Thanks for any input.
edition1, did you adjust your side bolsters? (you can adjust the side bolsters with the buttons on the side if you didnt know)
ctown, what do you mean by reset them?

). I havent tried comparing them with the bolsters at the same setting....i still dont think there is inflation for the bolsters or anything is there? or am I missing something (part of the leather pack? the website doesnt say anything though)
nah leather isnt standard LOL. i have the standard mbtex/dinamica seats....quite nice. I like the dianmica seat inserts but mbtex feels cheap. oh well they dont wear as bad (i've seen c63s with some f-ed up leather lol) and I always have fat friends hopping in and out of my car so i guess it pays off.

Lmao^ YEAH!!! +1

I guess I was curious bc I am almost positive that my previous e92 M3's side bolsters were mechanical.. Not the lumbar (I believe it was air filled bc I could hear a pump like device when adjusting the lumbar support), but the bolsters never "deflated" or made the sound.
anyways, thanks! AIR it IS!!!
