@DuaneC63: Thanks I know, checked the site and apparently it only applies to cars of 2011 or later, plus the tires have to be OE. So not sure how people are claiming the warranty unless you know someone at your local shop?

I'm just wondering if 255 is too wide for the fronts (pardon my ignorance)?

So... I'm just figuring this out (I know, I'm slow)...

My newly purchased MB CPO '09 C63 came with the following:

235 Front and
265 Rear

And that is not the factory configuration? I figured from MBZ dealer, the tires would be sized correctly (I saw owners manual said 255 rear, but thought it might be out of date ).

I just want to confirm, since I'm very new to the W204 AMG family.

Your tires are not stock size (255 is OEM rear) but you are fine... probably better... as most people eventually move to a 265 or 275 rear.

The 18x8 front wheel is to narrow for 255 tires according to every manufacturer's data that I have seen. I am running 255's on 8.5" wheels for track duty only to reduce the understeer issues when the tires get hot.

I have 265/245 PSS setup for the street on oem wheels and it is incredible rain or shine. Even compared to the Direzza Star Specs that I used to run. My current set was $1,105 out the door at Discount Tire.

Ok so forgive my retardedness 245/40/18 Front & 265/35/18 Rear should suffice nicely?

Any alignment advice, i.e. rear toe setting?

Way beyond suffice . If this setup was oem, the C63 may have actually won some of the idiotic reviews from the car mags. It is that much of an improvement over stock! I had the rear toe set to "neutral" not sure the exact degree and I got 9,000 miles on the last set of Star Spec rears which wore completely even across the tire.
