Bye bye C63, hello 2012 E63 Biturbo!!!
I really enjoyed my time with the C63 and it was very difficult to let her go, but yesterday I made the switch to a new 2012 E63 Biturbo. So far, I haven't looked back, as the new car is an absolute monster. Although the power "rawness" isn't there yet like my outgoing C63, I think a Renntech tune will fix that. The most noticeable change so far is the interior, and while I had no complaints about the C63, the E63 makes me feel like I am driving a true luxury car.
I plan to get some dyno and track results stock, then move to the Renntech tune and repeat the same tests. Thank you everyone for all the help over the last couple years and for making my experience in this forum a great one.

Congratulations Eric. The car is absolutely gorgeous. The M157 is a monstrous engine. You will love it.
I suggest you get the Weistec tune, as it is the best so far for the M157, along with their air filters (they are free when you purchase the tune). You car should hit 630RWHP

Thanks guys. Forgot to mention I purposely avoided the panoramic roof to keep the weight down and give it the most potential at the drag strip. Wife and salesman thought I was crazy.

Thanks! Yes, ended up going with a less optioned car than originally planned. As for selling price, I got a solid discount at $12K off MSRP.

Unfortunately, no. Cali is pretty good at sucking every $$ they can out of you. They even charge you taxes on the full price of a cellphone! So you pay taxes on $6xx MSRP on an iPhone even if it's discounted to $200 by cell phone carriers.

Range Rover Supercharged, C63 AMG Tenorite grey.
Hi,
Nice looking car, I am having a similar quandary, lease offers in the UK mean I am trying to decide which one to get out of a C63 performance pack estate loaded with the options I want or an E63 non performance pack estate, pretty much h no options or price gets too high. I prefer the looks of the C63 but have owned the saloon. But test drove an E63 and it just seems to be better put together.
The hooligan in me says C63 my brain is saying E63, not the worst position to be in I suppose can't complain.
