Huh? What is that supposed to mean? It might be faster than my car but if I wanted the fastest car on the market, I would've bought something else with my money.

I feel happy for the OP because he loves it but in the same time I don't understand this craziness about the GT-R... it's a nissan god damn it. It might be the fastest car for the money but besides?

I totally understand that feeling. However, I was aiming for a different kind of experience instead of euro cars like the C63 BS or Porsche and what not. This is why I got mine. For a bit over 100k you get a sub 3 seconds car with AWD and kick *** in car electronics, and you just can't beat that.

I've driven it. Both a MY2010 and MY2013 one. It's lightening fast and monstrously powerful, but it sounds like a vacuum cleaner and the CCB's make it sound like a dump truck.

Also, the blind spots are horrific.

Otherwise, awesome supercar. Congrats on the purchase! You're in the company of the Veyron, the Aventador, and the 997.2 Turbo S, with respect to stock 0-60 times.

I guess it depends on whether you want to impress people with the badge on the front (for those people it may impress) or have a car that outperforms almost anything MB offers in almost any measurable way (I didn't say outperform in feel as that is subjective). There is also the comfort issue and MB would be the best option in that regard.

You're still young and maybe not confident enough yet in yourself to be seen driving just a "Nissan" Personally, if I didn't need some practicality in my car or it were a weekend only car, I would be quite content to be seen driving this Japanese piece of junk that is only a lowly Nissan

Not looking to impress anyone. I have something against japanese cars and no one can help it. I love my car more than anything I ever had in my life and I seriously doubt that the GT-R can compare to it. When I'm going to get tired of the CL, I'm getting a CBS. I thought about the R8 but I'm not ready to leave MB yet. The GT-R looks cheap to me, no matter how powerful or sophisticated it is. But again, congrats to the OP and let's not hijack his thread by my fault. I don't want to feel guilty
