After hearing it when Im on it I forget how it used to be. It took me hearing how my car was before next to Nova's who had the res delete to convince me. I even texted him during the whole ordeal cause I was nervous and wanted it done just like his was

Ok so I didn't go to the same shop where I've been this morning because it was kind of far so I went to 3 different ones and they wanted to charge between $250-$300 and they weren't really very knowledgeable. Vaclav told me that he paid $120.. so I was like no you're charging the mercedes tax and I left.

Any recommendations for a shop in Miami? I will pay $250-$300 but at least they must be good...

If they are just cutting out the resonators and MIG welding in straight pipes should be about $100. If they are building an X pipe that will fit the three stock flanges plus adding a flang or slip pipe to the one that has to be cut, then $300 is not out of line. Most shops do not work with stainless as it does not bend (it will crack or kink). Hence all the prefab stainless systems you see with many small turns, lots of TIG welds and at a much greater cost.

Thanks Duane for your answer, but honestly, I don't think that $100 is going to happen lol. I'm going to keep looking for a good shop here and have it done.

For comparison, I paid $100 for the res delete on my C55. You should be able to find an indy exhaust shop to do it--it's not a high difficulty job.

$250/$300 is crazy, IMHO.

Resonator deleted! Replaced with stainless straight pipes and the sound is amaziiiing! The video below doesn't do it justice!

THANKS everyone, I found a decent shop that accepted the job for $150, $120 when I told him how to fix his bad reviews on yelp (lol) !!

Just get an aftermarket exhaust and keep the old one, therefore, if you ever decide to reverse the process it is relatively simple.

How come? What happened? I am contemplating this but don't want to ruin the AMG sound...wouldn't mind a little louder but last thing I want is to mess with the sound those geniuses at AMG gave us.
