Mercedes C63 AMG Crash Escape in Tunnel
#26
The unfortunate part with that would be that the truck driver would likely lose his job and his life would be ruined for a bit. A lot of companies have zero incident tolerance, sometimes even if you are not at fault.

There has to be some kind of damage or else he must have been really lucky. It's weird how that happens all of a sudden. All in all, the driver is asking for it.

What exactly happened? Does anyone know? It looks like he was going straight, then the rear end suddenly lost traction. With the complete lost of traction at the rear, it's natural the rear fish-tailed out to the right according to the laws of physic--but it can just be a coincidence. Did he hit an oil spot or something? It's just scary if this can just happen suddenly for no reason.

That is dangerous driving.
Otakki, I dont think he hit an oil spot & lost control.. It's more like he was going so fast that a truck turned into his lane & he almost hit it.

If he indicated, that wouldn't happen and the speeding driver would've seen him. I'm not saying that speeding in a tunnel is a good idea. I just think that it's hallucinating how many people here don't indicate. I wish that traffic school was mandatory here in the US because sometimes I wonder how some people got their license.

Whats more dangerous? Flying down the highway well in excess of the posted speed limit or not indicating when changing lanes.
Im sorry. A trucker or anyone on the road is NOT expecting a vehicle to close in on them at well over twice the speed limit. The driver of the car is a douche.

^^ This speaks volumes about your age and level of maturity. You must be a kid.
The fact remains that if this genius in the video was not blitzing his car down the tunnel this never would have happened. 95% of people don't realize how plastic metal becomes at those speeds.
I have had the privilege to be rear-ended at highway speeds twice. Once while I was driving a crane (dusty conditions) and the second time while I was pulling onto the highway and some one passed a semi on a double solid line. Both times I was OK but the people that rear-ened me ended up going hospital.

You guys can keep calling anyone that is younger than you a kid because they have accomplished what you couldn't do when you were their age.
But you're right, I'm still a kid.

WTF!!! Dude. According to your statement, driving at twice the speed limit is less of an infraction then signaling?
If that car was next to or close to the truck when it changed lanes without signaling there MIGHT have been a scuff or some harsh words exchanged. But at the speeds this guy was driving at he used up 8 of his 9 lives getting out of that sticky spot without dying. You dont get it. You can argue about the lane change all you want, it still doesnt change the fact that if he was traveling at or close to the speed limit there would have been zero issue.
Get off the computer. Your mom is calling you for lunch.

You don't understand what I'm trying to say. It's true that the speeding guy was 100% faulty and that what he did is way more dangerous than not indicating BUT if the truck driver indicated, the risks that an accident occurs would much lower because the speeding guy would've seen him.
PS: My mom died last year, please keep her out of this.

Wow guys! Seems like you are speaking different languages!
I might say that from the words you're using, you're about the same age.
That would not be a compliment to forcefed, sorry!
No question that the C driver is an idiot, but most of us often indicate only when WE think it is necessary, where as if we did EVERY time, idiots like this would not affect our lives as much.
Guilty, you might say that the truck would benefit from indicating not for the sake of the stupid C driver, but for his own job:
I am amazed that forcefed is responding to the indicator comment so aggressively, while all the posts about wishing the guy dead and a huge accident causing it go unchallenged...

You are 100% wrong. The C driver was acting like a maniac and putting himself and others in danger.
