It'd be great if there was a way to bring those available euro models to the states. At MSRP, they would sell much faster than in Europe. Too bad for all the stateside regulations.
It kind of bums me out when I see the car priced like that. It reminds me of the days when investors would come in and flip condos for $40k+ and screw with the market.
I might pay close to MSRP on a car like this, but I would not give someone the satisfaction of buying one for such an inflated price. I can't hate on the person selling it for that price though. To each their own though.
It would be nice to see a smaller profit margin and maybe other enthusiasts who want the car can afford it in its intended price range.

I drove mine from Cali to Florida and enjoyed every minute of my cross country road trip. It's a fun daily driver for me. Some might find the ride too harsh and would prefer a less aggressive suspension setup. For me it's perfect. Very responsive.
P.S. Did you ever get a car? M3? C63? Something else?

i guess the economy is not that bad, in Germany all BS was sold the first day.
Those 17 are mainly offered from MB-dealers who ordered them by change to make a good $$$ later.
Another point is that nowhere you get them that cheap like in the U.S.
Here a BS starts with 115000€, almost fully loaded 150000€(186000$),
thats without any taxes or fees like in Australia.
If those 17 would cost 95000€ ...guess all would be sold in the next hours.
By the way, great forum

dude, let's sell both of our cars and buy a CBS together. we make a schedule! you drive it monday wednesday thursday and i drive tuesday friday and saturday! and you know what? I'm gonna let you drive it on sundays because i'm gonna be sleeping!!
I'm sure it would cost more, but the warranty would be nice. Just curious if it were similar to Dinan for BMW.

The Black Series already comes with P31 internals. U.S. customers do not have the option of Performance Studio packages, they keep taking about it but as of right now they do not offer.
I have two AMG PC's within 40 miles of me and I would have loved to upgrade some of the internals on my car under warranty.
Oh well, are there any benefits to going to one of these over a regular dealer here in the US?

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I have have a non-P31 2010 and was more curious about getting work done on my car.

Contact Weistec Engineering http://www.weistec.com/m156internal.html , they offer a piston a rod kit that is even better than the P31 internals at a fraction of the cost of MB P31 parts. I run them in my CLK BS which is making over 1000 hp.
