You must of raced a 2013 mustang GT !!
If you really raced a 2013 Gt500 you will be so ashamed to post a thread !!
Even if he didn't know how to drive loool
FYI 2013 GT500 puts down 585-605WHP which is more then what a supercharged C63 puts down....
The trap speed of 2013 Gt500 bone stock with ****ty 60ft is 127-130MPH !
I own both and my 2011 Gt500 with pulley and tune only (545whp) beats my k2 C63 by 2-3 car lengths and keep pulling in higher speeds.

It's interesting to hear that the P31 package is underrated in power. The new Ford 5.8L motor is not even close to being maxed out in terms of power. I have seen several videos of a pulled, tune, and cat back make about 700 rwhp.
Hey, take a look at this video.

They are using a smaller pulley, smaller belt and also a better tune, this was already implemented into the 2013 mustang gt-500. The upgrade in superchargers is a expensive upgrade that Ford can not afford for thier customer base. The twin turbos for the c 63 will be in the beginning of phases for modifications. The gt is at the end of it's cycle.jmo

FYI they upgraded the supercharger for the 2013 GT500 from 2.1 to 2.3L TVS !! (not just pulleys lol)
and the engine from 5.4L to 5.8L with better cams and way better cooling system then prior models.
Plz read:http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...t/viewall.html
PS: forgot to mention the CF driveshaft !

For our first official drive of the 2013 GT500, we headed to Atlanta, where we sampled the latest super 'Stang at the track and out on the open road. Rolling along on the highway, the GT500's extra horsepower and torque isn't as noticeable as you might think. For instance, in top gear at around 80 mph, turning roughly 1500 rpm, it's a complete *****cat, with minimal engine and exhaust noise. No, it's the getting to 80 that's the fun part. Hammer it from a stop and the rush of 631 lb-ft engulfs your body, pinning your head and torso to the optional $1595 Recaro bucket as the GT500 blasts from 0-60 mph in a scant 3.5 seconds, on toward a quarter-mile time of 11.6 seconds at 125.7 mph. For context, the previous GT500, which put out a relatively pedestrian 550 hp and 510 lb-ft, needed 4.1 seconds to reach 60 and 12.4 seconds at 115.8 mph to eclipse the quarter, while the aforementioned ZL1 required 3.8 and 12.1 @ 117.4, respectively. Big power equals big improvements for the GT500. But beware of that big power: get too overzealous with the throttle, and the tires will quickly resemble burnt toast. Luckily, the new GT500's obscene power is absolutely controllable.

This was a nice read, it also states the best numbers they were able to get. Let's put a varible that most people in the real world don't factor in. Heat? The c 63 is consistant in there times and the gt -500 is not. If the c 63 dp does 11.9 or 12.1 at 118 to 120mph, this would cause problems for the gt - 500. I'd like to see what the dp c 63 does with slicks, using the race start . Every time I use the race start it shifts early to 2nd gear due to loss of traction. The gt 500 is modded using a supercharger, try a N.A motor it would be a game changer.

While anything is possible on the street, a 2013 GT500 should have no issue on roll vs a P31 C63.
That is the equivalent of saying I beat a stock 2009 C63 with my CLK55 on a roll.

The C63 is a very, very fast car but no matter how much you want it to be as fast as a 2013 GT500, it just isn't. You can't pick the fastest times reported for a C63 (which are difficult to reproduce) and then compare those to other cars. If you did race a 2013 GT500, the driver did not know what he was doing. If it was a pre-2013, then it is a different story.

Not even close. The Shelby's are untapped gold mines when it comes to HP

We fiddled with different rpm levels to optimize/minimize wheelspin, our best run coming with a 4,100-rpm launch, netting 60 mph in 4.1 seconds (3.8 seconds with a 1-foot rollout like at a drag strip) and the quarter-mile in 12.2 seconds at 121.1 mph. {edmunds}
We fiddled with different rpm levels to optimize/minimize wheelspin, our best run coming with a 3,000-rpm launch, netting 60 mph in 4.0 seconds (3.7 seconds with a 1-foot rollout like at a drag strip) and the quarter-mile in 11.9 seconds at 123.5 mph.{ inside line.}
Car & Drivers results were in line with the others. These are best times that they picked out, from numerous run's. By the way dp c 63 coupe were consistant in times, with all three major car mag's. the c 63 dp coupe was in line with the same numbers as the gt 500 except for trap speed. The trap would show power rating, but the time is the time.So the term walk the c 63 would be statisticaly wrong and false.
