C63, C55 (Sold)

What do you guys think about this car...

I'm still looking for the perfect C63 for me, but I got a little sidetracked since May (last time I stopped looking for it). Now, with renewed axiety and a job promotion (yaaaay!) , I resumed the search.

The following car dropped its price twice already, and I want to see it on Saturday. The problem is, that I have to drive 200 miles to check it, in my C55 so I can trade it in. I need your feedback, and if you have any information about the car.

The price looks very good to me...

Obviously no one there has mashed the throttle on that thing to find out it's more of a meatball then a creampuff

I think so. If you aren't keen on the P31 package, then this will probably be plenty. It also has very low miles so that's a big plus. Make sure the dealership did a full inspection and get a copy of the report. If it needs new brakes or tires, make them do it...although based on how it was driven, it sounds like it's still practically new.

Considering the low mileage it seems like a good deal to me especially for dealer pricing. However I feel like I'm used to slightly inflated values on these for some reason.

Me too, that's why this one got my attention. Other cars were 50k, with 30k miles or more (some even reaching the 40k miles mark). There was one CPO, but had 41k miles, for 50k. That car was lying in the local MB dealer for almost 7 months! nobody bought it, until June. I wonder if the guy/gal who bought it got a good deal.

Yes, 17 months and/or 36k miles remaining. Checked with the Carfax and the Autocheck... That gives me some time to buy the MB extended warranty.

I had commented about an extra 12 months on warranty, but realized it is Audi dealership.

Still seems like a good deal if there is nothing closer to you and CPO.

Believe me, I was looking for one, but with no avail. At least none with the perfect combination of year/miles/color/condition/price. A week ago I went to another MB dealer to see a black/black one, but it was murdered. I know that for some guys in the forum murdering a C63 makes it look cool, but not for me. If I'm buying a car, I'll personalize myself. Anyway, when I went to the dealer I saw the car, but it had a license plate on it already, it was sold. Then I cheked the listings again, and this one in particular was 52k a month ago. Then, on last week the price dropped to 49k. Two days ago, the price was dropped again. A perfect oportunity, for a non-CPO car... I guess
