It can be duplicated if you have the time.

We'll be at Sebring running with Chin Motorsports Oct. 13th/14th if you want to join us!! Great group to run with.
Then we'll regroup and set up to run 11/11 at MIR if I can make it with work. May be the last time this car see's the drag strip. After this it may be all road racing only.

How much you can go on front tires
Quote:
You can go to at least a 9" front wheel. You might be able to go with a 9-1/2" wheel. Depends where you want the wheel to fit. Originally Posted by alrasheed1991

I am going to a 9" wheel with a 275 hoosier for track purposes.

Okay I have a question for all of you.
I went to the MB dealership today to show off the car and let them see all the work they helped me do. The GM of the dealership said that he would give me the BS badge for the trunk if I would put it on. He said he thought it would be appropriate. I know some of you don't like posers and I tend to agree with you but I've been driving the car this weekend(and today) and everywhere I go people ask "what is it"? At least if it was badged I might not have so many questions. Its not a converted C350 or something along those lines where starting it up would give it away. I think it would hold its own in most dog fights.
What are your thoughts?

Who gives a doodoo what anyone thinks as long as you think is appropriate. Your car probably can best a c63bs at a road course and for sure smoke it in the 1/4 mile.

Don't do it Keith....your car is a custom masterpiece.
It stands on its own awesomeness and merits but it's not a BS... And that's not necessarily a bad thing
The GM is a douche for even suggesting that
Don't be like those guys who have the SL's and then put those Widebody kits from whoever and then slap a BS badge on the trunk.
How do you explain your BS badge at an event when they park a BS Coupe beside you. Don't bother
Just sayin

Yeah, Don't do it.
You can even make up a random name or something crazy for it just don't copy someone and pretend to be something you really are not.

You could call it a K63

MBWorld Fanatic!
Don't be that guy... What are you going to say when they spy the Micronaut calipers/rotors out back? Not to mention neither front/rear ARE Carbon Ceramic...
Besides real Black Series is in a league of it's OWN.. Superior suspension set-up, Real Blk Ser wheels (not budget-Forgestar) diff interior, how bout when they ask to see under the hood?
I have a widebody SL600tt & happily have ZERO badges, & tell people it's a highly modified 600 V12 biturbo..

Don't do it.
It's not a B.S. but it is something very very special, so IMHO there's nothing to be gained in badging it to be something it's not.
With all the work, worry, time & money, that's gone into this project, would it not be worthwhile for you to decide a "name" & have a badge made.....it's sure worthy of something.
Cheers, Pickles.

That's what I was getting at with my prior post. Brabus does a B63 or whatever so Keith could do a K63.

Absolutely Not !! You have created something unique and very special. No need to blur the line between your sedan and the Black Series coupe. I would leave all the badges off except the 6.3 emblems on the flanks. Keep them guessing, its much more entertaining that way! Meanwhile at the track, you should have no problem blowing a stock C63 BS into the weeds given the extent of your modifications but that really isn't the point here is it.

If people are asking what it is, why can't you just tell them? It is what it is...a C63AMG. Not a BS.
